Is She The One?
One simple way to know

Let me save you from a lot of pointless dating and a lot of pointless articles when it comes to this universal subject.
If you want to learn something, you have to look at it from first principles. You have to look at the beginning. The beginning always says a lot. The Five Love languages is a good book. Problem is, love languages change. And it makes you selective on the wrong basis. I will give you one thing you can base on. It is the beginning of all beginnings.
Go to page 2 of the Bible. Here’s a background. The Lord God creates man, and then He puts him in this garden he planted….in Eden. You have heard of this? Right? Why did he put the man in the garden? Don’t guess. Let me tell you.
Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to TEND AND KEEP IT. (Genesis 2:15)
You can see. That was God’s assignment for this man. His job. The man had a job. He did it well. Because I don’t see any complaints from his boss concerning this. Let me emphasize this: THE MAN HAD AN ASSIGNMENT.
Now. One day, the Lord God realized something. Something missing. So he said:
It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a HELPER comparable to him. (Genesis 2:18).
Hahaha. I don’t want you to rush when reading this. So I want you to read Genesis chapter 2 verse 18 in whichever Bible version you understand. Better yet, read it in all the different eBibles you can access. Man didn’t pray for this. It originated in the mind of God.
She is not the one because she takes away your loneliness. He is not the one because he takes away your loneliness. But she could be the one if you are alone. You can be alone but it is not good. Probably you know this verse 18 very well. But do you know what comes after verse 18? It is not verse 23. It is verse 19. When the Lord God said it was not good, what did he do next? Verse 19. Let’s read it.
Out of the ground the Lord God formed EVERY BEAST of the field and EVERY BIRD of the air. (Genesis 2:19a)
Ah! I thought he would straight away bring a woman to Adam. No, he didn’t do that first. He created dogs, horses, lions, cats, reptiles, parrots, monkeys, and 300 others…
