Discovering the Heart of Judges

I am really excited to announce that my book, “Judges: Chronicles of Deliverance,” is now live on Amazon!

I know what you’re thinking…… “Judges?” Isn’t that just a bunch of old stories about obscure heroes and ancient battles? But trust me, there’s more to it than that.

I dived deep into the most fascinating tales of the book of Judges-from Gideon’s fleece-fueled faith to Jephthah’s heartbreaking vow, which led to the ultimate sacrifice of his only daughter (Yes, I tackle the tough question-was it right? No, I argue, but it’s a complex story that still teaches us valuable lessons today).

And then there’s the shocking story of the Danites, who brutally slaughtered the peaceful people of Laish, simply to steal their land (it’s a tough one to read, but I show how even in the darkest moments, there’s hope and wisdom to be found). Plus, the tree-mendous parable (sorry, I had to!) and the remarkable faith of Manoah and his wife.

I didn’t talk about Ehud. But he’s another unsung hero who took down a king with a single, bold move. And his story teaches us more than just bravery-it shows us the transformative power of God’s word.

Just as Ehud’s dagger pierced the king’s belly, releasing his entrails, God’s Word can pierce our inner depths, releasing the “dirt”…
